Iceberg is an albino (leucistic) isolation of Albino Thai Lipa Yai, reported to have been stabilised in 2019. The Thai Lipa Yai line is the older parent; Iceberg is the cleaner, whiter and more vigorous selection from it.
The look gives it its name: caps that darken at the crown and fade to near-white towards the stem, with the cracked, glacial texture that dried albino fruits get. They are visually the most striking mushrooms we sell.
Marketing around albino strains tends to quote very high potency numbers. Independent assays do not support the loudest of them, so we describe Iceberg as above average and leave it there. Dose with respect.
