Terms of sale.
The rules that apply when you buy from us, in the order they start to matter.

You must be 19 or over to order. By placing an order you confirm that you are. We may refuse or cancel any order where we have reason to believe the buyer is under 19, and we may ask for proof of age before dispatch.
Your responsibility for local law
The legal status of these products differs by country, by province and in some cases by municipality. It is your responsibility to know the law that applies where you live and where the order will be delivered, before you place it.
We are not able to advise you on the law in your jurisdiction, and nothing on this site should be read as telling you that ordering is lawful where you are. If you are not certain, do not order.
You agree not to have an order delivered to any person or address that cannot lawfully receive it, and not to use a third party's address to get around a restriction that applies to you.
No medical claims
Nothing on this site is medical advice. Our products are not medicines. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and no statement on this site should be understood as a claim that they do.
The articles in our journal describe published research and general harm-reduction practice. They are written for general information, they are not tailored to you, and they are not a substitute for a conversation with a qualified clinician. If you take prescribed medication, have a diagnosed physical or psychiatric condition, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, speak to a clinician before using anything you buy here.
No resale
Everything sold here is for personal use by the buyer. You may not resell, redistribute, repackage or supply it to anyone else, whether or not money changes hands. Orders that appear to be placed for resale may be refused or cancelled.
Orders, pricing and availability
Your order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we dispatch it, not when you submit the form and not when the payment authorises.
- Prices and availability change. Both are subject to change without notice, and listed stock is not a guarantee that an item will be available when your order is processed.
- Obvious errors. Where a price or description is clearly wrong, we may cancel the order rather than fulfil it at the incorrect price.
- Totals are recalculated on our server. The amount charged is computed from our own catalogue at the moment of payment, not from figures submitted by your browser.
- Discount codes are subject to their own conditions and may expire, be limited in number, or be restricted to specific products or a specific account.
Refusing or cancelling an order
We may refuse or cancel any order, in whole or in part, at our discretion and without giving a reason. Common reasons include a delivery address we cannot lawfully ship to, a suspected resale or bulk-buying pattern, a failed age or fraud check, a pricing error, or stock that is no longer available.
If we cancel an order you have already paid for, you receive a full refund of everything charged, including shipping. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
Delivery and risk
Delivery timings, packaging and our returns position are set out inShipping & returnsand form part of these terms.
You are responsible for giving us a complete and accurate delivery address. We ship to the address on the order as entered.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for lost profits or lost opportunity, or for any consequence of you using a product in a way we did not describe, in combination with alcohol, medication or another substance, or in breach of the law where you are.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Using the site
You may not attempt to interfere with the site, bypass our checkout protections, submit automated orders, or access accounts or orders that are not yours. We rate-limit payment attempts and verify checkout submissions, and we may block access where we see abuse.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, and the date at the top tells you when this version was published.
