Code Blue is named for the dramatic blue-grey staining that appears wherever the fruit is handled, a normal oxidation of psilocin and not a sign of anything wrong. Dried, the caps turn a dusky brown and the stems carry long indigo streaks.
Honest note: we could not find a published lineage for this cultivar, and we are not going to invent one. What we can say is what we see in the bag: a well-formed Psilocybe cubensis with consistent size and heavy bruising.
